Hey cool people! So today I made a delicious raw-choco-nutty-frozen pie, and guess what? It´s freakin´ sugar free, man! I decided to quit on sugar for 10 days, and this is day 8 so far. You can check out the previous entries on the “No added sugar challenge” on this same category. Ok, back to bussiness. For this awesome pie you´ll need:
FOR THE BASE:
-1 1/2 cups of raw pecans
-1 cup of dry oats or amaranth
-4 pitted dates
-2 tbsp chia seeds
-As much coconut oilas needed for the crust to be very sticky
FOR THE FILLING: (you´ll need to soak your nuts ovenight)
-1 cup raw cashews
-1 cup raw almonds
-1 1/3 cup cocounut milk
-1/2 cup coconut oil
-2 heaped tbsp raw cocoa powder (unsweetend)
-I ran out of stevia so I used 6 packs of Splenda
Mix up the ingredients for the base with a food processor until sticky and press the mixture on the bottom of a glass container. Then put in the freezer.
Then mix up the filling ingredients until smooth, as smooth as you like. Put out the container and evenly spread the filling over the base. Put back in the freezer for a few hours.
And voilá! Raw-nutty-choco-frozen-whatever coming up!
